Responsibility

  • make decisions on the suitability of materials, equipment, plant and subcontractors when preparing a quotation
  • make decisions on the mark-up of a tender, balancing profit and competitiveness
  • consult with the SHEQ Manager when support is required in producing RAMS
  • work alongside our Procurement department to order materials, equipment, and plant
  • engage with the CAD Technician to modify and create technical drawings
  • liaise with on site sub-contractors, keeping track of progress and identifying any resource/material issues
  • undertake site visits when necessary to accurately capture the client’s requests
  • administration of tender enquiries

Requirements

  • estimating: 2 years
  • strong written and verbal communications skills
