Requirements
- bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- proven track record in building and scaling engineering teams
- strong expertise in semiconductor manufacturing processes, wafer fabrication, and product development
- experience with engineering systems, documentation practices, and quality assurance methodologies
- solid understanding of supplier management and contract negotiations
- demonstrated ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively
- exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the semiconductor industry
Responsibility
- build, develop, and lead a high-performing engineering team aligned with company goals
- mentor and coach engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
- develop and execute training programs to upskill team members and enhance productivity
- provide regular budgetary reports and forecasts to senior management
- develop and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards
- identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery objectives are met
- monitor and report on engineering quality metrics, implementing corrective actions when needed
- drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
