  • permanent

Responsibility

  • to be a trusted thought partner to business leaders and managers through open, honest and challenging dialogue
  • schedule and attend appropriate management meetings to pro-actively discuss HR casework
  • is the expert on complex ER matters, effectively managing resources and ensuring organisational risk is minimised
  • guide and support managers through complex employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinaries etc
  • take the lead on key HR strategic projects throughout the organisation
  • contribute to the development of HR policies, processes and procedures
  • support with recruitment and selection
  • to work in partnership with all areas of the organisation, to fully understand and respond to the key business drivers, current and future business needs

Requirements

  • flexible in their approach with the ability to travel as required for business purposes
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification desirable
  • experience of working within complex organisations with multi-faceted business structure
  • experience of dealing with complex employee relations issues
  • experience in managing a team of HR Advisors/HR Business Partners
  • proven experience of supporting and advising managers on all HR issues
  • professional and personable with the ability to quickly build rapport and build relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels
  • good knowledge of employment law and best practice
