Responsibility
- assist the dentist with patient care
- prepare and maintain dental instruments and materials
- ensure the dental office is clean and sanitary
- providing clinical chairside assistance to the dentist
- decontamination duties including sterilisation of instruments
- provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
- ensuring CQC requirements are met
- maintain patient records and charts
Requirements
- be fully Qualified and GDC registered or be on an accredited course
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- the ability to work well independently and within a team
- A firm willingness to understand the dental industry and what the role entails
- ensure compliance to the practice policies and procedures and the CQC standards
- dental Nursing: 1 year
- knowledge of Dentally system would be an advantage but not essential as training can be given
