Responsibility
- creating, costing and selling bespoke tailor-made luxury golf itineraries
- communicating with guests and suppliers via email and telephone requiring excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- delivering outstanding customer service to new and repeat clients at all times, going the extra mile
- ensuring that all customer details are correct, meeting customer expectations and company sales targets
- preparing and sending out customer itineraries and travel documentation
- this leading Golf Tour Operator is looking for a new Luxury Golf Travel Consultant to add to their successful, busy team. The key role is to be responsible for all the booking elements of our customer tours with our main suppliers
- checking customer bookings and customer/supplier invoices along with timely payments to suppliers
- other responsibilities include amendments, cancellations, changes and dealing with service issues while customers are on their tour
Requirements
- an experience of travel operations and booking travel services is advantageous
- passionate about sales, golf and travel administration and willing to progress within the travel industry
- problem solving skills in order to meet customer needs
- organisation skills – great attention to detail
- excellent time management skills
- motivated to achieve both company and team sales targets
- positive attitude to all aspects of their work and able to help motivate others
- professional and polite manner, capable of dealing with a broad spectrum of luxury VIP clients
