Responsibility
- working closely with the Senior Underwriting Technician, this brand new role supports their strategic growth plans into the Commercial insurance market
- job Specification
- consultative in your approach, you will develop and influence the relationships between your underwriting teams, operational field management and Agents
- technically astute and commercially switched on, your underwriting skills will be second to none
- liaise with and support Agents and their staff together with the Operations Team to actively develop sustainable, profitable Commercial growth
- work closely with the Senior Underwriting Technician and be a referral point for all Commercial new business enquiries from Agents
- based in the Regional underwriting department, you will oversee the development and maintenance of relationships between our Agency sales force and underwriting teams to deliver a market leading new business quotation and policy issue service
- provide Commercial technical underwriting expertise and support to planned training sessions for Agents in conjunction with the Operations Team
