Responsibility
- we are now looking to recruit for an experienced Finance Manager to join our in-house finance department, in our Swindon Office
- an exceptionally successful company, Excursions Limited is an inbound tour operator specialised in providing touring, special events and logistics throughout the UK for the Small, Luxury and Expedition cruise market
- established in 1999 the company enjoys the custom of a large proportion of the world’s cruise fleet and an excellent reputation in the broader travel industry
- making credit card payments for venues
- assisting with hotel and train bookings
- providing ad hoc assistance to the Finance Director
- following all Excursions Limited Policies and Procedures
- ensuring compliance with accounting standards and VAT legislation
Education
- diploma of Higher Education
Requirements
- minimum AAT qualified
- excellent written and oral communication skills, able to work with people of all levels
- strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- able to produce accurate and consistently high-quality work
- previous staff management experience
- able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- excellent knowledge of accounting processes and application
- proactive, professional, and responsive
