Responsibility

  • this may involve residential settings and our secure transport provision
  • residential is supporting 16-18 year olds in a supported living environment
  • as a Healthcare Security Officer you may work supporting patients on bed-watches, A&E, Patrols of the site and similar security duties, however, we also require each staff member to cover across our other job roles as and when required
  • the Secure transport involves the transfer of children and adults around the country

Requirements

  • violence and aggressive episodes which may involve or lead to bedwatches
  • you may be required to work between sites
  • security within a similar environment: 1 year
  • respond to calls from ward staff to deal with Patients, Visitors who are being violent, abusive or disruptive, assess the situation and take the appropriate action to resolve the situation taking all relevant factors into consideration
  • the role whilst mainly working in a hospital environment, may include working within other areas of the companies business which may include residential settings and secure transportation of adults and children
