Requirements
- familiarity with detection methodologies such as fluorescent-based techniques, binding assays, cell signalling assays, reporter assays, cytokine release, migration assays
- knowledge of working with semi-automated liquid handling systems, preferably working in a 96/384 well format
- A strong ability to problem-solve and take the lead on project work when needed
- excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills
- A BSc / MSc focused on biochemistry, cell biology, pharmacology or related discipline . Previous industrial or research/academic laboratory experience would be advantageous
- NG21AE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
Responsibility
- as a Scientist and member of a pharmacology group, you will work as part of a team to develop cell-based, biochemical or pharmacology assays to enable quantitative and rigorous characterization of complex protein-ligand interactions at the molecular level to aid target identification, validation and lead optimisation strategies in support of drug discovery programs across a variety of target classes
