Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • drive a van for a minimum of 6 hours per day with loading times in between journeys
  • load and unload specialised and sensitive equipment onto trucks using hand tools
  • inspecting the vehicle daily before driving
  • inspecting the route on a daily basis before driving
  • maintain logs of deliveries and report any issues or safety issues to management
  • maneuver delivery vehicles into loading or unloading positions
  • collect and verify delivery instructions
  • report defects, accidents or violations

Requirements

  • proven working experience as a van driver, ideally in a specialist field or industry but not essential
  • hands on experience with electronic equipment and software but not essential
  • ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
  • high attention to detail and following procedures
