the key objective of this role is to achieve team and personal revenue targets annually within a highly competitive market, as agreed with the CEO, Head of Exhibitions Sales and Executive Team
seek new business opportunities, through one’s own initiative, closing high yield business quickly and efficiently
proactively manage and develop existing events across the whole ExCeL portfolio of events to maximise and develop existing clients to ensure high levels of repeat business and account growth
meet and exceed individual and company financial targets
Requirements
proven success selling experience within the industry in a suitably senior capacity
demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts with all levels of clients
influencing and interpersonal skills
ability to creatively and proactively seek new opportunities and business leads
problem analysis – ability to identify issues and present creative solutions
demonstrated ability to consistently convert interest and enquiries into sales
high level of industry knowledge and of the business and exhibition
in addition to the above, you are required to undertake such duties as may reasonably be required of this role
