- proven experience as an MET Technician with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs
- proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to MET repairs
- relevant qualifications or certifications in Automotive Engineering or a related field
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
- prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
- perform color matching to ensure an accurate and seamless finish
- apply paint using spray guns, ensuring proper coverage and even application
- maintain a clean and organized paint booth, adhering to safety and environmental regulations
- monitor drying times and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired results
- collaborate with the wider repair team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
- proven experience as a Car Painter/Prepper in an accident repair centre
- painting
- strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques, color mixing, and paint application
- proficiency in using spray guns and other painting equipment
- attention to detail and a keen eye for color matching
- ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
