Responsibility

  • carry out inspections and repairs on Solar PV and other electrical systems from our nationwide portfolio
  • understand site plans and layout drawings of the installations
  • understand and work to Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • be able to work 'on roof' to inspect and work on Solar PV arrays
  • understand the dangers of working with Solar PV
  • good electrical knowledge of Solar PV systems to be able to determine faults and issues and fix where possible
  • work as part of a wider engineering/installation team to meet timescales and deadlines
  • work at height appreciation and safety knowledge

Requirements

  • NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2368
  • understanding of / experience in as many of the services and technologies that we offer as possible
  • full clean driving licence
  • experience in roof mounted Solar PV & electrical systems AC/DC
  • BS7671 18th Edition
  • 2391 Inspection & testing
  • CSCS/ECS card
  • experience within a similar role
