• to act as key worker for a group of children
• to support children’s physical and emotional well-being throughout the day
• to sensitively support children’s physical routines
• to maintain a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment
• any other duties that reasonably fall within the purview of the post which may be allocated after consultation with the post-holder
• to attend regular staff and training meetings, supporting other members of the team as appropriate
• to work within the principles and requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• attending any training needs , staff meetings
• to contribute to the planning and implementation of appropriate activities to meet the needs of the children
• to respond to the interests and fascinations of children to support learning
