Responsibility
identifying and developing new business opportunities around seasonal marketing campaigns, a particular focus on apparel and workwear
building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers
achieving sales targets and increase revenue
creating and delivering presentations to potential clients
negotiating contracts and closing deals with clients
conducting a high volume of outbound sales calls to prospective clients in order to generate new business opportunities and achieve sales targets
developing and implementing call scripts and strategies to effectively engage with potential clients and promote our promotional merchandise products, with a special focus on apparel and workwear
staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments
Requirements
proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
strong negotiation and closing skills
good knowledge of the promotional merchandise industry and its products
ability to work independently and as part of a team
ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
at least 2 years of experience in a business development role within the promotional merchandise industry, with a focus on apparel and workwear
full driving license and access to a vehicle is essential
