Requirements
ensuring statutory records, registers, and governance documentation are accurately maintained and effectively documented
submitting statutory & regulatory filings within required timeframes
assisting the CFO with drafting commentary for the Annual Accounts as required
ensuring that the company policies within the Group are approved by the relevant authorising body, with a clear audit trail maintained
ensuring that the Company Secretariat risk register and associated controls remain up to date and relevant
other activities commensurate with the role
financial accountant

Responsibility
support for all aspects of the production of the management accounts and finance packs
support on the annual budget and periodic forecast processes
production of the Group's annual accounts at interim and year-end
provide technical accounting guidance for ad-hoc queries raised by the business
production of year end corporation tax packs
liaising with external and internal auditors
work with the wider financial accounting team to continually drive process improvements and standards in financial control across the Group
Requirements
you will ideally be professionally qualified ACCA/ACA with a strong background in Accountancy or part-qualified with strong financial accounting experience
numeracy and good communication skills are also key alongside a good eye for detail
ACA/ACCA part/fully qualified
driven, ambitious, able to work in a fast-paced environment
technically strong, used to working under IFRS standards
experience of reporting credit losses under IFRS 9 a distinct advantage
A brilliant communicator able to build relationships with senior stakeholders
