Responsibility
- to respond and provide technical guidance to customers regarding operational issues, configuration, firmware upgrades and general maintenance
- provide first class technical onsite support and service to customers, assuming responsibility for resolving all issues in a professional manner
- to assess the customer’s product application, troubleshoot and diagnose issues through research and/or re-creation to determine the root cause
- visit customer’s premises to commission equipment
- to install products or systems at customer sites and deliver training to customers in-house or abroad
- provide operational & service training
- assist with Customer Acceptance Testing when required
- to recommend solutions utilizing various levels of technical language appropriate to the customer in a timely, clear and professional manner
Requirements
- A wide-ranging comprehension of Network topology and design
- no mandatory formal qualification required, although HND / Degree in Electronics or Engineering as a guide
- experience with Network infrastructure and Server Hardware setup
- networking and/or Computer Electronic education
- ability to exercise excellent judgement when under pressure to manage difficult issues effectively to ensure good outcomes
- will have previous experience testing/servicing/commissioning digital consoles in the audio industry
- ability to work independently under own initiative and unsupervised on-site
