- nursery manager / deputy manager
- keep a current up to date profile of achievements of your own key children
- monitor key files for junior members of staff in your room, offering support and guidance where needed
- work with the parents of special needs children to insure full integration of the child into the nursery setting
- support colleagues and engage in a good staff team
- liaise and support parents and other family members
- to be involved in out of hours activities, e.g. training, staff meetings, parents evenings
- operate a programme of activities to suit the age and stage of the children in your area in conjunction with other members of staff
