- ● Write mandatory reconsideration requests and in some cases write appeal submissions
- ● Carrying out any other duties as required

- ● Manage a caseload of individuals seeking welfare advice delivering tailored support for them
- ● Maintain appropriate records of work undertaken using an appropriate system and in line with GDPR
- ● Build and maintain a directory of local support and intervention partners establishing inward and outward referral processes
- ● Deliver welfare workshops advising colleagues of changes to welfare legislation as required
- ● Participating in regular team meetings and events & participating in other advice and staff team commitments, supervision, core trainings and meetings as necessary including sharing welfare knowledge
- ● Design, maintain and monitor the effectiveness of client welfare services and processes via evaluation and the gathering of data
- ● Contribute to welfare benefits related publicity material, social media, reports for the trustees and other stakeholders as required
- ● Provision of management support to others providing advice and frontline services including identification of training needs
- ● Assist with funding applications/tender bids by providing basic factual information to the CEO to enable them to apply for funding and write funding/tender applications

- personal resilience and the ability to maintain clear professional boundaries and manage expectations
- experience of providing high quality welfare advice to a diverse range of clients
