- job title Welfare Adviser Team Leader
- ● Provide up to date, high quality welfare benefits advice to service users, including representation at tribunals
- 21-35 hours per week – to be agreed
- £25,000 to £28,000 per year full time hours dependent on experience
- ● Write mandatory reconsideration requests and in some cases write appeal submissions
- ● Carrying out any other duties as required
- ● Provide effective line management
- fixed term for 12 months from start date
Requirements
- excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in simple and easy to understand terms
- personal resilience and the ability to maintain clear professional boundaries and manage expectations
- experience of providing high quality welfare advice to a diverse range of clients
- ability to monitor and report against targets
- ability to take the initiative, work independently, plan and organise own work and meet deadlines
- good understanding of Eastern European communities
- able to speak an Eastern European language as well as English
- leading and managing within Welfare sector: 1 year
