Requirements

  • commercial and financial awareness
  • experience in Sage Line 50 Stock Control and Purchasing
  • experience working in an SME environment
  • fork Lift operators certificate
  • stock management: 2 years
  • license to drive car in the UK
  • 2+ years’ experience in a stock control environment or purchasing role

Responsibility

  • ensure materials are ready and available for production and other internal requirements
  • take responsibility for the purchasing process, to include goods in procedure, quality control, identifying and reporting any discrepancies with inbound stock, following up late deliveries etc
  • negotiate with key suppliers to ensure best prices and practices are achieved
