Responsibility
manage sub-contract procurement including preparation of order documents
process subcontractor requests for payment and issue of notices
measure progress, assist in submitting valuations, final accounts preparation and retention release, and monitor receipt of payments in a timely manner
conduct change management control and costing , as well as raise purchase orders within budget allowances
we engage in a wide range of voluntary initiatives which offer support to local communities through partnerships and social projects
manage the day-to-day cost control to include monitoring and reporting and contract administration to ensure specification and pricing is compliant
complete a monthly cost/valuation report and cash flow for designated projects
attend project and company related meetings, and any other task commensurate with this post
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent vocational experience or working towards one
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience and knowledge of the construction industry
experience in a similar role and understanding of contract terminology and subcontractor practices
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
highly detail-orientated and organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
