Responsibility
- manage sub-contract procurement including preparation of order documents
- process subcontractor requests for payment and issue of notices
- measure progress, assist in submitting valuations, final accounts preparation and retention release, and monitor receipt of payments in a timely manner
- conduct change management control and costing , as well as raise purchase orders within budget allowances
- we engage in a wide range of voluntary initiatives which offer support to local communities through partnerships and social projects
- manage the day-to-day cost control to include monitoring and reporting and contract administration to ensure specification and pricing is compliant
- complete a monthly cost/valuation report and cash flow for designated projects
- attend project and company related meetings, and any other task commensurate with this post
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent vocational experience or working towards one
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience and knowledge of the construction industry
- experience in a similar role and understanding of contract terminology and subcontractor practices
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- highly detail-orientated and organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
