Responsibility
- to maintain and promote residential care work to high levels of professionalism expected by Estherswift Care and Ofsted
- to contribute to the educational and social development of each young person and assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programs
- to meet the emotional and physical needs of our young people and maximize opportunities for their development
- to provide a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment in which young people can feel secure and free from harm
- provide induction to young person on admission, explaining house rules and welcome pack etc
- continually assess young people's needs and work with Team Leaders/ Managers to revise support plans in line with young person's changing needs and abilities
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
- NVQ Level 2 / 3 in Health & Social Care and / or minimum of two years’ experience within the Looked After Children Services Sector
Requirements
- experience of working with children and their families in some capacity. SKILLS
