- full-time
Responsibility
- establishing, maintaining and expanding the customer base to achieve agreed targets
- servicing the needs of existing customers
- implementing strategies throughout the sales team in order to achieve high level strategic objectives
- responsible for obtaining profitable results throughout the entire sales department by developing the team through motivation, skills development and increased product/applicational knowledge
- providing accurate sales forecasts/projections to the wider business on a weekly basis
- setting individual, team and territory sales targets on a yearly basis, in line with the overall target set by the Sales Director
- working interdepartmentally to increase overall profitability through process and product improvements
- responsible for sales growth by proactively developing new customers and managing existing network of agents and distributors in addition to recruiting new ones, where required
Requirements
- degree or Diploma in Engineering or Business is preferable
- ability to speak a European language would be advantageous
- proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, and successful sales team
- strong leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills
- strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- experience of selling capital equipment into the recycling industry would be advantageous
- willingness to travel overseas as and when required, even at short notice
- strong negotiation skills
