Although some infrequent travel to Caerphilly will be required.About the Role:We are looking for a Service Engineer to support our customer base with service and commissioning visits predominantly within the UK. There will be some infrequent European travel involved in the role also. The Service Engineer reports directly to the Senior Service and Commissioning Engineer.Responsibilities:Carrying out scheduled maintenance and other service activities including commissioningConduct mechanical service work and mechanical fittingSoftware and hardware engineering processesSoftware programming (PLCs, SCADA/HMIs, variable speed drives, communications networks)Assist customers and internal personnel with technical questions regarding Eriez solutionsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through continuously delivering high standards of serviceContinuously adhering to safety guidelines and policies set out by Eriez customersRequirements:An understanding of electronic circuits and schematics - EssentialUse of electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter) - EssentialAbility to troubleshoot to board level - EssentialHNC in a related field as a minimum (or demonstratable experience) - EssentialExperience with microcontrollers, SCADA, HMIs, PLCs - DesirableDegree in electronic and electrical engineering - DesirableSMT level fault finding -

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join our team.About the Role:This role is responsible for supporting Eriez customer base by completing service/commissioning visits worldwide, whilst overseeing the administration of all service support documentation. The successful candidate will spend an average of 3 days per week on site visits, and will also be required to work weekend shifts (up to 26 weeks out of the year).Responsibilities:Carry out service/commissioning visits worldwide. These visits could involve long journeys either by car (provided) or planeCalibration of Eriez equipmentCarry out repairs of equipment returned by customers to the factorySale of spare parts of Eriez equipment, preparing quotations and ordersAssist customers and internal personnel with technical questionsPreparation of documentation for international and domestic travelPreparation of commissioning, servicing and calibration visit documentationTraining of customers and agents – both at Eriez facilities or at customer sitesInvolved in finding solutions on site including equipment and installation problemsThe environment at site could include working on uneven ground, at heights and/or in limited spaces. In some cases mobile access platforms can be used but others may only have access by ladders i.e. mining/quarry sites, plastics/wood/food processing plants, power stations and recycling plantsRequirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar roleElectronic and electrical experienceMech
