paralegal

Requirements

  • law Degree or CILEX qualification preferable
  • minimum 2 years paralegal experience
  • ability to deal with difficult telephone conversations with Defendants/Opposing Solicitors confidently and calmly and refer if appropriate
  • an awareness and/or experience of the CPR Rules and progressing claims through the Court system
  • good written, numeracy and oral communication skills

  • to achieve and maintain an up to date task list
  • ensuring electronic post and emails are correctly catalogued and saved to relevant files on a daily basis

legal cashier

Requirements

  • previous legal cashier experience
  • knowledge of SRA Rules
  • proficiency in using accounting software
  • excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • provide coach and mentoring to team members

Responsibility

  • ensuring daily cashier processes are completed accurately
  • this role is part of the finance cashier team and will have responsibilities for dealing with the daily, weekly and monthly key cashier activities to ensure deadlines are met and the smooth running of the function and assist across the team to cover absence and holiday
  • supporting the other cashiers with their workload
  • adhoc cashier activities as required

solicitor

Responsibility

  • you will need to be used to running a complex/defended litigation caseload with minimal supervision
  • willing and able to supervise juniors in the immediate team but also support the wider volume teams
  • familiar with working closely with clients - managing key relationships and be accustomed to presenting to them in review meetings
  • an enthusiasm for business and product development
  • A commitment to finding innovative ways to provide an outstanding service for clients

Requirements

  • 2-4 years’ experience in a mortgage, property and/or commercial litigation environment is desirable
  • experience dealing with the Land Registry and residential property is desirable
  • qualified Solicitor or FILEX preferable or equivalent experience
  • CPR experience essential
  • proven experience in similar roles is essential
