manufacturing engineer
Responsibility
- investigate process concerns and implement changes as and when required
- generating data and analysing findings
- working alongside management to discuss process improvements
- briefing the Engineers regarding the Integration of new processes/ components
- managing contractors
- complete low volume production activities
- TPM checks and schedules
- carrying out risk assessments
Requirements
- proven track record of improving processes/ introducing change
- background in engineering/ manufacturing
- working knowledge of workflow management methodology, i.e., KANBAN, LEAN, 6 Sigma
- excellent planning and project management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CAD - Competent in either 2D or 3D
- an investigative mindset
- the ability to operate under pressure
