epsom College is a vibrant co-educational day and boarding school set in a beautiful and well-resourced 80 acre campus below the Epsom Downs
at the start of this academic year there is currently a surplus of 3-4 hours of teaching available
we anticipate that more teaching will be on offer at the start of the following academic year, if not before
the school continues on its upward trajectory and we are looking to recruit a temporary Visiting Music Teacher to join the busy and successful Music Department

Requirements
carry out the administrative procedures of the Department
prepare appropriate pupils for Music Exams
where appropriate, and in consultation with the Director of Music, organise, promote, rehearse, direct and perform with ensembles
assess, record and report as required on the development, progress and attainment of pupils
promote the general progress and well-being of any pupil they teach
teach pupils, ranging from complete beginners to those of a high standard, the technique and musicianship required to play an appropriate musical instrument, offering encouragement, support and guidance as necessary
prepare pupils for concerts, festivals and competitions and encourage pupils to take the available opportunities to develop all aspects of their musicianship
attend planning meetings and training prior to the start of each academic year
