Responsibility
- conduct comprehensive Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8, HSG 274, and HTM 04-01 and SHTM 04-01 standards
- undertake cleaning and disinfection of Cold Water Storage Tanks , temperature monitoring, microbiological sampling, and TMV servicing as required
- deliver routine monitoring and maintenance services as per client requirements and PPM schedules
- produce detailed schematic drawings and accurate reports within agreed timeframes
- liaise directly with clients, offering expert advice and recommendations for remedial actions
- work closely with Account Managers to communicate findings and support accurate quotations for remedial works
- interpret laboratory results and provide clients with guidance on required actions to meet compliance
Requirements
- minimum of 3 years’ experience in Legionella Risk Assessment and water hygiene engineering
- strong knowledge of UK regulations, including ACOP L8, HSG 274, and appropriate Health Technical Memorandums
- scientific or engineering background is advantageous
- excellent communication, attention to detail, and report-writing skills
- basic Plumbing skills preferred
- proficiency with computers, including report and schematic drawing software
- full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays
- disclosure Scotland PVG Membership is required
