Responsibility

  • ensuring that legislative requirements are met
  • preparing, processing and submitting client payrolls
  • dealing with payroll queries and answering queries from clients
  • communicating with HMRC in all aspects of Payroll including RTI
  • uploading pensions and looking after AE and contractual duties for clients
  • carry out payroll calculations such as maternity, paternity and sickness
  • providing anomaly reports to relevant personnel
  • providing payroll reports to Clients

Requirements

  • educated to GCSE level as a minimum
  • attention to detail and accuracy
  • competent IT and Mathematical knowledge
  • problem solving abilities and logical thinking
  • ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload to effectively meet deadlines
  • pursuing or wanting to pursue a payroll qualification
  • support with training others either one to one, in small groups or in larger briefings
  • suitability to work with children and young people including meeting the requirements for DBS clearance
