- planning of tests to be conducted
- processing test data into useable format for FEA analysis
- produce reports and recommendation
- develop new tests according to international standards and internal requirements
- create material cards for use in FEA models
Requirements
- these skills would be an advantage for the position
- degree in mechanical engineering or similar
- A detailed understanding of composite materials and their modes of failure
- ability to build and interpret finite element analysis models
- experience in the testing and modelling of adhesive materials
- some knowledge of CAD packages, preferably CREO
- data processing and report writing skills
- good problem-solving skills
