- work with the People’s Voice Manager to provide leadership on our place-based approach internally and externally

- encourage and promote the involvement of volunteers
- to act as an ambassador for People’s Voice / Healthwatch building a credible and influential profile across the area served
- internally facilitating a joined up way of working that unites the people’s Voice service in landing evidence and seeking outcomes at a place-based level, as well as driving wider system improvements
- build and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders, communities and commissioners across all place-based networks and forums to enable opportunities to influence and effect change
- maintain awareness of the strategic picture in health and social care, representing People’s Voice / Healthwatch at meetings where appropriate
- work with staff and volunteers to manage the flow of information from a variety of sources, through required levels of evaluation to create useable results to underpin activities and recommendations
- develop a quarterly, but adaptable, workplan and project management tools to track progress for reporting
- creation and maintenance of a performance dashboard within their team
- ensure outcomes from the continuous improvement process/ other activities are fed into monthly reports
- contribute to integrating information held in different parts of the organisation to support projects or research initiatives
- working with Management Accountant to support annual budget planning process and managing annual budget expenditure
Requirements
- experience in managing multiple relationships with senior stakeholders and community leaders
- experienced in community development and engagement with a track record in delivering community-based initiatives including partnership working
- track record of successfully working in partnership and maximising the opportunities that this brings

- understanding of Theory of Change and Social Return on Investments
- experience of training or mentoring
- A strong track record of establishing and maintaining constructive strategic relationships across a range of stakeholders including senior public sector managers

- experience to lead and motivate a team
- experience of working within complex governance structures to navigate decision making processes to influence change
