Responsibility

  • key role supporting the creation of a world class finance function
  • work with key Finance stakeholders to identify business needs from the Finance function to manage the business
  • preparation of material for monthly operational meetings with Leadership team on Finance transformation
  • responsible for identifying new functionality and ensuring that the finance team utilises it
  • build training programmes to train Finance and users of Finance systems to ensure systems knowledge is built
  • with extensive knowledge developed through a career in Finance, review existing processes, systems and capabilities and identify gaps to what good looks like; build business cases including options and milestone plans for the chosen option
  • acts as the Superuser/ Subject Matter Expert for any changes made to the system - especially new integrations
  • conduct a review of the full suite of systems across the business to establish deficiencies interfacing the finance system and propose improvement recommendations

Requirements

  • educated to degree level
  • qualified ACA, ACMA or ACCA
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering Finance change
  • strong stakeholder management skills. Must be able to balance time between Finance and the business
  • familiarity with Microsoft D365 Business Central SaaS or other similar accounting packages
  • accounting: 7 years
  • familiarity with Microsoft D365 Business Central SaaS: 5 years
  • strong stakeholder management skills: 6 years
