• to be responsible for the property and asset management of the school
• to liaise regularly with the Head Teacher on caretaking and site management issues
• manage Cleaning and Caretaking staff across the school

• to maintain the internal and external fabric of the school’s premises as a safe working environment

• to ensure the security of the school premises
• take bookings for school facilities from outside users
• to maintain any machinery or plant within the school
• ensure heating, lighting and alarm systems are checked regularly to ensure they are operational
• take responsibility for equipment orders involving facilities across the school
