Responsibility
- responsible for managing communities pre, during and post eSport events/ tournaments
- establish and maintain partnerships with eSports networks inclusive of publishers and key esports talents
- work with the wider team to build and deliver growth in participation numbers
- planning social content and maintaining the content calendar ensuring social media content is regular, relevant and engaging
- monitoring the success of the community and of social media in terms of the overall marketing strategy
- ongoing awareness and interest in trends across social media, digital publishing, online video and sports output internationally
- engaging with fans and followers to build relationships with the community and encourage engagement
- build relationships with customers, industry professionals and journalists
Requirements
- excellent understanding of all relevant social media platforms - YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Discord and Twitch
- strong knowledge and experience of digital publishing software and techniques
- strong copywriting skills including excellent spelling and grammar, as well as writing techniques to capture particular audiences
- experience of social media strategy, KPIs and goals to increase a digital audience and engagement
- knowledge of relevant sporting audiences
- excellent communication skills, including experience in a client-facing role
- ability to identify and track relevant community metrics
- ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
