Responsibility
- we are looking for an Operation Technician to join our Plant Operations Team at Parc Adfer
- as an Operations Technician you will be responsible for managing the waste reception and processing, residues management and handling, including mobile plant operations, supporting the weighbridge operator as required and assisting the Operations and Maintenance teams in day to day tasks, so that the facility can function as an integrated whole and run at maximum levels of safety, compliance, availability and efficiency
- the role is worked on a rota shift pattern that includes day and night shifts, to assist with the continuous 24/7 operation of the facility

- maintain a clear tipping floor area, ensuring any obstacles are removed or waste that is unacceptable is segregated for subsequent disposal, and that traffic flows smoothly
- performing routine maintenance checks on mobile equipment and reports malfunctions
- ensures a high level of health and safety is always maintained by reporting any issues or incorrect procedures to the Supervisor, Shift Team Leader or Management team
- ensures that all procedures and risk assessments are always adhered to
