ENERGY CONSULTING is looking for employees for positions:
mechanical design engineer
Responsibility
- mechanical/Public Health design on all our projects, including calculations, preparing technical specifications and schedules
- preparing technical reports for projects, including RIBA Stage 0-4 technical reports and RIBA Stage 5 site visit reports
- assisting energylab Project Manager and Project Director in project delivery, including resource management, answering queries, emails, team calls etc
- delegating tasks to junior staff members and checking their delivery of these tasks, providing technical support as required
- taking part in project QA reviews and being responsible for the associated actions
- preparing technical electrical design drawings. Our CAD/REVIT team provides drawing support but from time to time you may have to do your own sketches and/or drawings
- taking and implementing instructions from immediate line manager and Directors
- attending meetings, representing energylab. This shall include design team meetings, client meetings, and internal and external meetings, both in person and online, as required by the project and as directed by the immediate line manager
