- as a registered medical device manufacturer, Energist maintains a Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 13485 & FDA CFR 21
- field Service Engineer
- its products are largely electro-mechanical in nature and are assembled both in-house, at its Swansea manufacturing facility, and by specialist sub-contractors based in the locality
- the primary role of the Service Technician is to carry out service activities on Energist products - both in-house , and at customer sites ; supporting the user base and providing a revenue stream for the business while ensuring adherence to the company’s stringent quality and safety standards
- ensuring good housekeeping throughout the service areas
- ensure Health & Safety standards are upheld within the department and in general
- providing general assistance and support to the other parts of the business as required
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- experience of fault-finding and carrying out repairs on electronic and precision electro-mechanical products
- self-reliant, uses initiative; accustomed to travelling unaccompanied
- experience of working within the medical device industry is desirable
- excellent customer-facing skills, must be a good ambassador for the company
- able to read and interpret drawings and schematics, and to make technical judgements
- good interpersonal and communication skills
- self-motivated, organised, methodical, good planner
- basic engineering qualifications
