Responsibility

  • taking advantage of significant growth within the business, Energise Contracting Ltd are hiring an Electrician with experience of commercial properties
  • as a business we operate in the installation of Renewable energy resources
  • the main bulk of our work is within Solar installation
  • the role will involve being involved in some DC work but the main work is around AC installation
  • the position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a long-term career in the renewable energy sector with a growing company, where they can develop their skills and contribute to the company’s future growth
  • some jobs will be nationwide and will need to travel/work away during the week. On occasion, there will be some weekend work required, with prior notice

Requirements

  • installation and Testing
  • photovoltaic systems
  • approved 18th Edition Electrician
  • ECS Gold Card
  • extensive experience installing electrical containment and wiring in commercial environments
  • extensive experience installing solar PV and batteries on large scale projects
  • advantageous the understanding of DC on a solar installation but can be taught
  • strong knowledge of a full Solar install, from laying the panels to commission stage
