- A methodical and well organised individual with excellent time keeping would be ideally suited to the role
- end Systems are now recruiting a Trainee Mechanical Technical Author to work as part of a busy team of mechanical and electrical technical authors, producing electrical and mechanical operating and maintenance manuals and associated documentation for a variety of clients
- the role requires a hardworking, conscientious operative who is comfortable communicating with clients and preferably has a basic understanding of mechanical information such as equipment quotations, schematics and layout drawings, specifications and schedules
- the successful candidate ideally should carry a minimum of BTEC ONC/OND in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, but this is not essential if the right candidate comes along
- technical authorship encompasses the interpretation of building services drawings, specifications, equipment schedules and information, from which the author will produce detailed text to describe how the building services of a particular building are operated and maintained by the occupant
- the candidate should be comfortable working within a fast paced environment that is highly focused on meeting client deadlines and producing work of an excellent standard
