Responsibility
- to make appointments, arrange meetings, maintain an up-to-date diary and to maintain the "to do" diary and Proclaim Tasks system
- to transmit and receive fax communications and emails and upon receipt to pass the same on to the appropriate person without unnecessary delay
- 18. To undertake any other duties which may from time-to-time be allocated

- knowledge of the Company’s accounts procedures and practices so far as they relate to the work of the supervising fee earner

- knowledge of the Company’s offices, and the personnel of the Company and its management structure
- good team worker with ability to relate to and to have excellent working relationships with other members of department and with other members of staff generally
- ability to operate fax machine, photocopier, telephones, franking machine and other equipment and knowledge of postal systems including DX systems
- good organisational skills to support the team with existing systems of working and further development of systems
- sound experience of computerised word processing systems and processes and knowledge and understanding of the operation and use of other computer uses adopted by the Company including its case management system and database maintenance
- excellent communication skills and articulate and self-confident in dealing with Directors and staff

- ability and motivation to deal with a large volume of work in an organised and logical manner and to use initiative persistence and determination to solve problems arising from identified errors and inconsistencies
- working knowledge of the Company’s objectives and policies; their application to the job; the Company’s emphasis on client care and adherence to quality assurance standards and to Lexcel; and working knowledge of other administrative and personnel practices and procedures within the Company as set out in the Company’s procedure manual
- ability to deal with the client in distress by demonstrating appropriate empathy and reassurance whilst maintaining professionalism and referring to fee earners if required
- sound numeracy skills and an ability to deal with routine billing and billing enquiries and to take payments by way of debit and credit card
