Responsibility

  • we are looking for a 3.5T Truck Driver/General Operative to join our team and help our production move more efficiently

  • we are recruiting for a 3.5T Truck Driver/General Operative
  • driving a 3.5T Truck with a trailer
  • working in the paint shop
  • we are a welding, fabrication and engineering business with two locations looking to expand our production capacity
  • supplying the agricultural and information security industries, you will be responsible for driving and delivering goods to our customers, a wide range of workshop duties including, but not limited to, machine operation, drilling, sawing, tapping, picking, packing and other general workshop duties
  • developing the role

Requirements

  • manual handling of parts. Forklift experience a bonus but not essential
  • experience in a workshop environment, ideally in the metalworking industry is a bonus but not essential
  • ability to manage the workload and plan ahead for your next task with a supervisor
  • have a good eye for detail and able to work in a methodical manner to a high level of quality
  • able to do some repetitive work to the same standard, consistent quality, consistent times
