food Preparation: Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian curries, gravies, and sauces using traditional Indian cooking techniques and recipes
ingredient Management: Oversee the procurement and management of ingredients, ensuring high-quality and fresh produce is used in all dishes
to provide a delicious, high quality product that is natural, free of artificial ingredients and preservative-free, and is prepared in a manner that is safe, sanitary, and sustainable
menu Planning: Collaborate with the management team to develop and update the menu, ensuring a variety of authentic Indian curries and accompanying dishes are offered to customers
team Collaboration: Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure effective communication, teamwork, and efficient flow of operations
Requirements
experience: Proven experience as an Indian Curry Chef or in a similar role, with a focus on Indian cuisine and curries
culinary Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian spices, flavors, and traditional cooking techniques. Ability to create authentic Indian curries from scratch
creativity: Ability to innovate and create new dishes while maintaining the authenticity of Indian cuisine
time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in taste, presentation, and portioning to maintain consistency and quality
team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with other chefs and kitchen staff
