Responsibility

  • we are looking for a Toolmaker, the role will be based in Gainsborough
  • ability to work from technical drawings, sketches and verbal instructions to produce tools, jigs, fixtures and associated component parts
  • ability to work with minimal supervision
  • ability to solve problems using own initiative
  • ability to produce work to the required tolerances
  • assist with the development of apprentices both within the Toolroom and the wider business
  • ability to train others in the safe operation of tooling
  • any other duties assigned in line with scope of role
