Responsibility
- responsible for installing and in some cases assembling equipment, servicing, and maintenance of commercial catering equipment
- diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving faults and organising repairs as required
- other responsibilities may include periodic checks including Gas, electricity safety checks
- responsible for completing Electronic job sheets
- required to install, commission, maintain and repair commercial catering equipment, such as combination ovens, fryers, grills, and griddles, cooking ranges, dishwashers, microwave ovens etc
- regular communication to be maintained with the Office
- responsible for maintaining and checking van stock
- test and undertake quality assurance checks to verify that the commercial catering equipment is in accordance with the design specification and diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve faults and organise repairs as required
Requirements
- full UK driving license
- hold or be able to hold DBS clearance
- electrical qualification, Gas Qualifications COMCAT 1 / 2 / 3 / 5. F Gas prefered
- degree qualified, or equivalent, in an Engineering based subject desirable but not essential
- qualified and registered engineer with Gas Safe
- 3-5 years engineering experience in catering equipment
- ability to work flexible and unsociable hours, travel to sites and occasional stay overs
- strong verbal and written communication skills
