- this will include regular cleaning of the residents' rooms, bathrooms, lounges, hallways, and other communal areas and office spaces
- elm Cottage Care Ltd, is a small residential care home for 8 adults with learning disabilities and is looking for a highly motivated, caring reliable person to join the team within our privately run care home in Dechmont, West Lothian
- launder clothing and organise items belonging to individual residents within their bedrooms, bed making
- responsible for replenishing and reordering stock used
- minimize the potential spread of infections by applying and understanding infectious control procedures, and carrying out deep cleans
- P.V.G check would be required and the cost met by Elm Cottage
- assist with the cleaning of the Home as directed by Manager or senior staff on duty, ensuring that the home always meets high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Requirements
- candidate should be able to display a good work ethic
- good organisational skills, good timekeeper, and can use own initiative
- A happy, cheerful person who enjoys working in a clean, tidy, and friendly environment
- previous experience would be advantageous however not necessary as training would be given on-site to the right candidate
