Requirements

  • strong communication, interpersonal skill, leadership, and conflict resolution
  • strong knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methods
  • critical thinking ability and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • experience with inventory control, inventory reconciliation and cycle counting
  • able to operate a forklift
  • 3+ years of combined management experience in Warehousing or Third Party Logistics

Responsibility

  • leading by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed
  • drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement
  • maintain accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical counts with warehouse teams and reconcile discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system
  • ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to standard operational procedures
  • supervision, training, and direct assistance of warehouse operations which include, but not limited to, loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, and inventory control
