- to manage time and tasks to ensure efficient running of projects and department
- to demonstrate good understanding of project financial control To confidently negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
- to communicate in a clear and concise manner
- to form, build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- to continually look for avenues to improve project margin
- to delegate tasks by identifying individual's capabilities
Responsibility
- attending regular internal review meetings with directors and other members of the company management team as necessary
- carry out internal review meetings with staff working for/with him/her Ensure the staff working for him/her understand fully their role and fulfil the requirements set out for them
- undertake or advice/authorise on the procurement of all plant, equipment, sub-contractors and labour packages necessary for the works allotted spend limits
- attendance at meetings on behalf of the company either in conjunction with others or individually
- ensure the project is fully staffed to meet the requirements of the construction programme
