Responsibility
- you will also support the audit process by providing supporting evidence and documenting accounting positions
- preparing group Half-Year and Year-End disclosure reporting packs
- regional Financial Accountant X 2 required , by a Leading financial services and investment company
- contributing to both regional and group-wide ad hoc projects including continuous improvements, group initiatives and participation in transformation activity where required
- the roles will both assist with delivery of the month-end close process, reporting to Group and preparing local statutory financial statements and regulatory reports for allocated legal entities, ensuring that all deadlines are met
- maintaining appropriate controls in the reporting process and putting forward ideas for process, policy and control improvements
- responding to ad-hoc requests in areas related to reporting and financial control deploying accounting and reporting expertise
- you will be focussed on maintaining appropriate controls in the reporting process and ensuring that all continuous improvement initiatives are well supported
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- working knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
- understanding of basic controls in reporting and other finance processes
- experience with Oracle ERP system preferred but experience with another general ledger system also acceptable
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
- accounting qualification
