Responsibility
- 2.1 Providing emotional support to clients and their families
- 2.2 Supporting clients with their hobbies and interests
- 2.3 Providing support in line with their support plan
- 2.6 Supporting and monitoring their healthcare needs including prompting with medication and personal care
- 2.9 To participate in regular team meetings as required
- 2.4 Working as a team to support the learning of new skills or gaining employment in line with the company’s E-LAUNCH program
- 2.10 Working with young people to implement support plans put in place
- 2.5 Understanding the communication needs of all clients and adapting your communication to the individual in order to provide person centered care
Requirements
- candidates must have BSL L2 as a minimum
- candidates without British Sign Language will not be considered
- must have experience working with autism and challenging behaviours
- candidates must have at least 3 years of experience working within the mental health sector and must have some experience working with vulnerable young people
- candidates should at a minimum have NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health or Social Care or Children and Young People’s Workforce, the company will fund staff training if successful applicants do not have the qualification specified
- we are looking for candidates who are flexible with working time who can work the rota, must be available for day, night and weekend shifts
