Responsibility

  • we are looking for a qualified accountant, a highly organised individual to join our Senior Leadership Team in Wakefield
  • this includes customer invoicing, credit control, funding management, timesheet and payroll management and supplier account management
  • you will deal with financial queries from and on behalf of our nursery teams and their customers
  • you will manage the implementation and ongoing management of new financial software, suitable for the running of an SME business, e.g
  • sage Accounting or similar
  • reporting to the Owner-Directors and working alongside other members of the Senior Leadership Team you will be responsible for upgrading and maintaining our Financial and Management Accounting processes and procedures and overseeing our book-keeping services
  • you will deliver process improvements through this and other similar projects, whilst maintaining effective financial controls over the businesses
  • you will liaise with our external accountants and ensure accurate records are prepared and maintained to the required timetable, and manage the year end accounts process
