If you find yourself unfortunate enough to end up at eleanor here is what you can expect.
Management at this company is extremely negligent. A typical day is made much more unpleasant and difficult with the manager present therefore it is far better when they're on one of their plentiful annual leaves (we've lost count)
You can expect to be micro managed at most basic tasks.
Often neglected and left to your own devices where you can actually put in good work and help end users while the manager shops online, sleeps in the lunch room or watches shows on his ipad only to then start panicking by the end of the day trying to make up for the time they've wasted and pretending like they're not completely out of the loop.
You will get hired for a certain role but end up doing the work of not only your management but also a few incompetent colleagues who cannot seem to perform their duties for various reasons like lack of basic English while working in the office or simply refusing to learn certain systems and procedures. Due to seniority at the company those get to work for a few hours a day and relax while you struggle.
Striving to go the extra mile for the end user, company and colleagues alike is not rewarded with promotions or even a pat on the back but extra work and criticism so it's actually better to seem incompetent to make one's life easier.
Almost half of the staff at the side of Eleanor at which I've worked ( covering 2 major hospitals ) were agency workers.
I myself have spent exactly a year there waiting for some sort of job security that a contract would give but with no luck. There were colleagues there who have despite doing amazing work been there without a contract even longer than that.
We wait new details. Does anyone here work at ELEANOR HOSPITAL LOGISTICS and can write something about them or has information about new positions?
